The Fanucci Family are the proud owners of Vignano, located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The vines are situated between 260m and 500m above sea level, so the grapes benefit from the cold winters and sunny hot Tuscan summers. The wine is matured in stainless steel and aged in French oak; tradition and science make for modern and composed wines.

The earliest official records of the Fanucci family date back to 1362 where the origins of the family commence in Pontaserchio. Decades later, the winery is run by three brothers, Patrick, Dominique and Nicolas. Armed with proud heritage, an honest upbringing, unwavering belonging and a clear understanding of most of the world together with their universal understanding of wine, the boys express the Fanucci philosophy and DNA through their wines. A floral bouquet of lavender and violet with lots of cherry and caramel on the palate. A good structure to the wine with great balance and finish. Excellent with friends on a Friday night, charcuterie boards and cheese-sharing platters, all pizzas, but especially truffle and Gorgonzola. Best served at room temperature.
Varieties: Sangiovese, Nero, Merlot and Cabernet
Aged: 6 08 Months in medium-sized Slavonian oak casks. Malolactic fermentation takes place during this stage.
Colour: Deep ruby red with violet
Smell: Cherry, lavender, violets, subtle, floral scent, subtle minerality with chalk and caramel
Taste: good structure, fruit forward with good balance and finish
