Anabasis Winery

Located in Marsala, on the west of Sicily, lays the Anabasis Winery. This 15-hectare property is the culmination of Michelangelo Alagna's dream, and this beautiful family-run winery strives to produce the finest wines using native Sicilian grapevines. Michelangelo Algana is an experienced winemaker with many years of winery experience and holds degrees in Archeology and Oenology. The winery draws its name from the Ancient Greek Epic by Xenophon - and the winery continues this tradition by titling each of their wines with inspiration from ancient Greece. Anabasis aims to preserve the tradition of Sicilian wines by focusing their cultivation on the three most authentically Sicilian grapevines - Grillo, Nero d'Avola and Zibibbo.
