Conditions of Sale
What exactly is a “Consignment” wine?
’Consignment’ is an LCBO channel through which Ontario agencies can import wines by the case.
This is commonly used by restaurateurs, sommeliers, collectors and those-in-the-know to purchase wine. It also represents an opportunity for the average Ontario resident to bring in wine and there is no reason why you shouldn’t be buying wine through consignment too.
Trayvino Wine Company offers you an easy and simplified way to do this.
All you have to do is browse through our 140 or so Consignment wines available to you posted on our website. There are products from around the world for you to choose from. We have a selection of highly awarded wineries, family run and bio organic, as well as small lot producers available through our website.
Why do I have to purchase by the case?
Because those are the LCBO rules.
Due to Ontario laws, we are only permitted to sell Consignment wines by the case format that they were imported in. We generally import our wines in cases of 12 bottles, sometimes in cases of 6 for more premium wines, and very rarely, in cases of 4, 3 or 1 for special formats (magnums, etc.).
How can I pay?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
